Pedestrian Struck In Westchester Parking Garage

A pedestrian was struck in a busy parking garage in the area early Monday morning, according to police.

The incident took place around 7:30 a.m. Nov. 26 when a motorist entered the James Street parking garage in Peekskill, turned a corner and failed to see a pedestrian, said Peekskill Police Det. Sgt. Jack Galusha.

The pedestrian was hit at a very low rate of speed and there were no major injuries, he added.
